19th Century opera and decorative arts combine in this Antique French Porcelain Plate! On this plate is a section of "Le Muette de Portici" by French Composer, Daniel Auber. It is suggested this opera had a hand in the 1830 Belgian Revolution. Even without that historical notation, it also holds the title of being one of France's first great opera. With that, we understand why it has landed as a motif for this musical plate!
